NPL Transactions and Virtual Data Rooms

Frankfurt am Main, 9th June 2009 - Data Room Services GmbH & Co.KG participates as exhibitor and sponsor of the NPL-Forum for the first time. This year, the NPL Forum took place under the clouds of the global financial crisis and its impact on financial institutions, banking supervision and the general economy. In the lectures and discussions the participants of the financial industry got an overview of the development of the NPL segment of the overall global market as well as more specific subject-related information such as that pertaining to Workout and NPL servicing.

One of the event's top-notch speakers, Deutsche Bank, gave a presentation on how NPL transactions can be enhanced in terms of simplicity and speed by using Virtual Data Rooms (VDR's). In so doing, their presentation also discussed further benefits of VDR's such as the high level of transparency associated with purpose-built online due diligence platforms and the ability to integrate the entire Questions and Answers process online. Such integration ensures that the Q&A process is completed quickly and efficiently and allows deal officers and management monitor and direct this crucial phase of the transaction.

The simple intuitiveness, speed and integration options provided by the DRS platform made demonstration of the benefits easy to follow.The NPL-Forum is presented yearly by the Frankfurt School Publishing House in collaboration with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and the Federal Association of Credit Purchase and Servicing.
