February 2009 - DRS sponsored the M&A Summit, a conference initiated by the German newspaper Handelsblatt, on February 19 in Frankfurt. M&A experts discussed changes and challenges which will be important for the deal economy in the future. Speakers such as representatives of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology, the German Institute for Share Promotion and Goldman Sachs gave presentations.

Topics such as the Risk Innovation Act and behavioral differences between financial investors and strategic buyers were covered in these discussions.
